Pub CrawlPub Crawl

Have you planned you trip with some extra days to dip into the Westphalian lifestyle? If you are in Münster on Whitmonday (May 25) already, we will be glad to assist you. Join us for our pub crawl on Mondaynight! We will meet in the city center and explore the Münsterian bar scence. This will both include fancy cocktail places but also historic pubs with a chance to taste famous regional beers (not necessarily part of the famous Zoo Tour). Prost!

ECIS 2015 IS Women's Networking Event supports female students and colleagues in the IS field, who are often underrepresented in their courses and departments. It focuses on the issues faced by women in the IS community and provides a supportive base to engage with the challenge and to encourage more women to join and thrive in the IS field. The event is open to male and female attendees, but registration is required (available during registration for ECIS 2015).

Thinking Ahead – Strategy& ECIS Networking Dinner

In the context of the ECIS 2015 we invite excellent junior scientists from Germany, Switzerland and Austria with passion for IT and digitization to a networking dinner at the first conference day to learn about Strategy& and the job entry as a PhD graduate in the strategy consulting field. Applications per short CV (incl. grades) until May 20 to Sabine.Runge@strategyand.pwc.com (no letter of purpose required).
Evening agenda: We are welcoming you at 7 pm on the terrace of the restaurant Oer’scher Hof, centrally located in Münster, in walking distance to the conference location. During the subsequent dinner there will be plenty of time for informal exchange between doctoral students and consultants. See you at the ECIS 2015 in Münster!

Early Morning RunEarly Morning Run

Thursday, 7am, in front of the Cathedral
For those of you in need of some activity, we will organize an early early morning run on Thursday morning. You might know: The early bird catches the worm, that's why the meeting point and time will be in front of the Cathetral at 7am already! We will have three distances (this is not going to be a marathon, more some sight-seeing with activity ;-)): ~5km ("Promenadenrunde"), ~8km ("Promenade und kleiner Aasee"), and ~10km ("Promenade und großer Aasee").
