The European Research Centre for Information Systems (ERCIS) network links IS institutions in joint research and education. Throughout Europe and now beyond, 20 associated research institutes for Information Systems are integrated into the ERCIS network. Many ECIS 2015 supporters and chairs are our active members, which makes us very proud!
ERCIS headquarters is located at the University of Münster in Münster, Germany. Ten professors of information systems, practical computer science, quantitative methods, business administration and law conduct research on interdisciplinary questions. Several hundred scientific assistants work at various partner institutions doing international as well as interdisciplinary research. Another important support for the research is the Advisory Board, which consists of several diverse companies. The Advisory Board ensures applicable and practical research by maintaining a permanent exchange and contacts with the industry. In addition, the ERCIS cooperates with several research partners at the University of Münster. A range of perspectives allow a unique multidisciplinarity.
